Tilly Kaye

Tilly Kaye
CBBC / ITV
Tilly started acting classes at Articulate at just six years old, and our tutors saw her potential immediately. Tilly began years of hard work and training, and in that time, she’s built a successful career in the Film and TV industry.
The Drama School started by building Tilly’s confidence in class, showing her how to perform in front of her peers and an audience. Within the school, we focus on creating a safe, supportive space where students can express emotions freely. This approach is essential for helping our students gain the confidence they need to perform at their best, especially when it comes to auditions in front of casting directors.
Tilly first landed commercial roles for major global brands such as McDonald’s. She then began to audition and land roles in high-end TV shows such as Gentleman Jack and Last Tango in Halifax, both written by the award-winning writer and director Sally Wainwright. Tilly not only held her own alongside some of the UK’s most beloved actors, including Suranne Jones and Sir Derek Jacobi, but she also proved herself a standout performer.
As she continued to grow in her craft, Tilly booked the title role of Biff in Biff and Chip for CBBC, based on the beloved children’s books. Here, she showcased her comedic talent and demonstrated she could handle the pressures of being a lead character in almost every scene for a whopping 63 episodes.
Now in her early teens, Tilly has been shooting for ITV’s crime thriller Protection (2025), where she plays a witness in protection across all episodes and opposite some well-known actors such as Siobhan Finneran and Katherine Kelly.
Despite her success and frequent bookings via the Articulate Agency on productions across the UK and overseas, Tilly remains dedicated to improving her skills every week in class. Watching her continue to grow as an actor is inspiring. She is a fantastic role model for the younger students at our drama school, where she volunteers, and an example of what tenacity, dedication, and a love for drama can achieve.
