Rory Wilmot is Neville Longbottom in HBO’s Harry Potter! 

Rory has signed onto an 8-year contract with HBO, where he will be filming alongside a star-studded cast including, Nick Frost, Anton Lesser, Louise Brealey, John Lithgow, Janet McTeer, Paapa Essiedu, Johnny Flynn, Katherine Parkinson, Bel Powley, and Daniel Rigby. As well as newcomers Dominic McLaughlin, Arabella Stanton, and Alastair Stout who are playing the Golden Trio. 

Since joining us in our drama school several years ago, Rory has worked hard to develop his acting skills, displaying extraordinary talent. He quickly booked roles in short films like The Waiting Room and progressed to popular TV shows such as FBI International (CBS).

Rory spent six months shooting for the new Netflix TV series Unchosen (previously titled ‘Out of the Dust’) in 2024 opposite Asa Butterfield and Siobhan Finneran.

In summer 2025, Rory wrapped filming on a new feature opposite Gal Gadot – an incredible opportunity that truly showcases his talent.

He will also start filming for a major feature film soon that is under NDA!
