Articulate talent Iyla Sundarsingh McKaig has been announced as a series regular in the exciting upcoming Netflix series Unaccustomed Earth, which is filming in New York!
Based on Jhumpa Lahiri’s short story collection, Unaccustomed Earth will explore themes of cultural identity, family, and love within a vibrant Indian-American community in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
The series is being adapted by John Wells, known for The Pitt and Shameless.
She will be taking on the role of Hema and sharing the screen with stars like Freida Pinto, Indraneil Sengupta, and Adi Roy.
For the role, Iyla is moving to New York, which is extremely exciting.
