Stacey Burrows

Founder and Head Agent

Hi, I’m Stacey and I founded Articulate in 2013 with the sole aim of empowering young people across the country. I have a few strings to my bow – I’m an ex-lawyer, I’ve played semi-pro rugby and I run the busy Articulate offices alongside being a mum to a cheeky toddler! I love traveling, hiking, and I’m a total foodie who loves to find new exciting restaurants.

Lucy Millington

Casting Agent

Hi, I’m Lucy and I’m one of the Casting Agents here at Articulate. My degree is in Drama & Theatre and I have further qualifications in teaching. I started at Articulate as a Junior Agent and now represent some of the UK’s most notable rising stars. Outside of working, I love reading, arts / crafts, and walks by the beach. My favourite part of the job is the video calls to tell my clients they have landed a role – especially when they land their first role, it’s such a special moment and I feel so privileged to share that joy every time!

Joe Maw

Commercials Agent

Hi, I’m Joe – one of the agents here at Articulate! I actually began on the other side of the camera; playing the character of Johnny Taylor for six years in Tracy Beaker Returns and The Dumping Ground! I learned a lot about the industry from working both in front of and behind the camera, and spent many years attending auditions and recalls myself. I am really enjoying passing on what I’ve picked up from my experiences to help our actors wherever possible now! In my free time I love taking long walks with my dog, Ryder and spending time with my wife and young daughter.

Courtney Bell

Adult Supporting Artist Booker

Hi, I’m Courtney! Originally from Toronto, Canada, I now live in West Yorkshire, where I oversee the Adult Supporting Artists department at Articulate. With over ten years of experience working on-set as a Standby Props Assistant across a variety of productions like Star Trek – Strange New WorldsWhat We Do in the Shadows, and many more, I have a strong understanding of production needs. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking through the beautiful Yorkshire countryside and hunting for hidden treasures in antique shops.

Hue Drinkwater

Child Supporting Artist Booker

Hi, I’m Hue, and I’m proud to oversee the Child Supporting Artist and Chaperone Departments here at Articulate Agency. From a young age, I was always creating short movies, so working in the film industry was a dream I was determined to chase. I moved from Derbyshire to Leeds to turn that dream into reality, taking up a film production degree, and have a real passion for getting our young people to experience the wonder of the industry. When I’m not immersed in the world of film, you can find me playing badminton or enjoying long walks with friends – especially if there’s a cozy pub at the end of the trail!

Jane Tindall

Accountant

Hello, I’m Jane, a Chartered Accountant, responsible for the full accounts and book-keeping function at Articulate. I spent most of my career in the accountancy profession in Yorkshire advising a wide range of owner-managed businesses in setting-up, running and growing their operations.  I love the variety of my role in this fast-moving environment and the satisfaction of keeping everything up to date and ship-shape. Outside work my interests are family, garden and club motorsport such as rally timing and car/motorbike event organisation.

Helen Costello

Accountant

Hi, I’m Helen and I’m the Accounts Assistant. I also have two daughters who attend classes with Articulate which they love. My youngest daughter, Poppy is also a part of the agency and has worked on professional TV sets. My eldest daughter has also appeared in Waterloo Road and Crongton for CBBC. In my spare time I love to go for walks with my family and dog, Pablo.
