Rocco started our acting classes aged just five, following in the footsteps of his older brother Austin, who is a professional actor- also trained by Articulate Drama School.
Rocco began his screen career in 2017 with a small role in the BBC drama The A Word (Series 2), followed by a string of commercial appearances throughout 2019, including campaigns for Leapfrog Toys and the NEC Caravan and Camping Show. That same year, he made his film debut in Ali & Ava (BBC) and appeared in acclaimed TV dramas Last Tango in Halifax (BBC) and Gentleman Jack (BBC), where he played the role of Billy Hardcastle opposite Suranne Jones.
In 2020, he featured in several commercials, such as LNER, Co-op, and Samsung, and made his first appearance in All Creatures Great and Small (Channel 5) as the Nativity King in the Christmas special.
His momentum continued into 2021 and 2022 with roles in Wolfe (Sky), The Railway Children Return (Amazon & Netflix), Hullraisers (Channel 4), Dodger (BBC), and a recurring role in All Creatures Great and Small (Series 2).
Rocco’s first lead role came in the 2023 short film The Dalesman’s Litany. That year, he was seen in the major feature film Starve Acre and also the soap opera Emmerdale. He featured as the hero in several commercials, including those for LUFC and North West Cancer Research.
In 2024, Rocco joined the cast of CBBC show The Odd Squad (BBC) as Agent Opstairs and starred in Antique Kids v Vintage as well as Netflix drama Toxic Town.
Rocco is now shooting major Hollywood movies, and in June 2025, his latest film, 28 Years Later (as Jimmy), directed by Danny Boyle, was released, receiving five-star reviews globally. Later in 2025, Rocco will appear in the major boxing movie Giant (as Mikey) opposite Piers Brosnan.Â
Rocco has just wrapped on a very special TV project set for release in 2026, where he worked with Mackenzie Crook.
