Alan Carr’s Changing Ends to feature Articulate’s Dotty Davies

ITV’s Changing Ends, a six part comedy on Alan Carr’s life, will feature Dotty Davies (14) in her first cast role.

Dotty has had plenty of experience filming for TV (she’s had appearances on CBBC’s Lagging, BBC’s Gentleman Jack and Traces, and Channel 5’s Anne Boleyn), but this will be her first cast role.

The series, announced in 2020, will be based on Alan Carr’s life growing up in Northampton as a gay teenager in the 1980s. Dotty will be playing Alan’s friend in drama class – she’s quirky and weird, a girl who really stands out. The character is perfect for Dotty, who’s great at playing more quirky characters.

She started filming last week in London. We hope she has lots of fun on set and we can’t wait to see the series when it comes out!
