Channel 5 have announced the cast of their upcoming series The Feud, and among some huge names from across UK television, it features Young Performer Joel Kai Ali (17) in his first TV credit.
Joel will be playing Abul Masood, and he’s been filming for a few weeks after being cast in March. We’re incredibly proud of this achievement; his first TV credit and his second cast role following a short film last year.
A whole host of familiar names have roles in The Feud. Jill Halfpenny and Rupert Penry Jones star as Emma and John Barnett, who live a normal life with their teenage daughter. The actors making up the neighbourhood include Chris Gascoyne, Amy Nutall, Ray Fearon and Jamie-Lee O’Donnell.
Paul Testar, Commissioning Editor at Channel 5, described the series: “Neighbourly disputes happen every day. The Feud takes that premise and runs with it to its extreme limit. What starts as an innocuous renovation triggers an extraordinary sequence of events.” The series is currently in production and is expected to air next year.
