We are proud to have trained hundreds of talented actors and actresses who have honed their craft in our drama classes. Many of our alumni have gone on to shine on stage and screen, building their acting careers with the strong foundation they developed here at Articulate Drama School.
Articulate Kids
Chiamaka Ulebor
Chiamaka’s (ChiChi’s) early television appearances include roles in All Creatures Great and Small (Channel 5), the CBBC comedy Class Dismissed (2021), and BBC series Sherwood (2021). She currently stars as Shola Aku, a lead role in the BBC drama Waterloo Road (2023–present). This role has provided ChiChi with a great platform to demonstrate her incredible skills as a young actress. We cannot wait to see what the future holds for her!
Matilda Firth
Matilda’s impressive screen career spans both major international productions and acclaimed British projects. Her earlier performances include memorable appearances in The Irregulars (Netflix), The English Game (Netflix) , The Feed (Amazon), and The Power (Amazon). Matilda has also landed the hero role on McDonalds Christmas - Imaginary Iggy and starred in multiple campaigns for brands including Dettol, Haribo, and Wilko. Her recent feature work includes Isla Peretti in Subservience where she worked alongside Megan Fox and Disenchanted (Disney) alongside Patrick Dempsy. On television, Matilda has played a wide range of characters, including Millie-Jo Castleton in Mr Bates vs The Post Office (ITV), Nancy O’Riordan in Time (BBC), and Grace in both seasons of Hullraisers (Channel 4).  In 2025, she appears as Ginger in Wolf Man (Blumhouse/Universal) amongst many other unreleased productions. Her versatility across film, television, and voiceover work marks her as one of the most promising young talents of her generation.
Austin Haynes
Austin’s journey in acting proves that with dedication, anything is possible. Having worked alongside renowned actors like Sheridan Smith, Stephen Graham, and even George Clooney, he’s shown that hard work pays off. Austin began his training at Articulate at a young age, and from the start, his focus was on bringing authenticity and subtlety to his performances. This foundation allowed him to create believable and dynamic characters across various projects.
Whether it’s feature films, short films, TV, or commercials, Austin has consistently demonstrated his ability to adapt to any role and setting. During his time at Articulate, he was exposed to a wide range of scripts, each designed to challenge him and his classmates. These exercises pushed them out of their comfort zones, helping them understand the versatility and naturalism required to succeed in the industry. By practicing different roles, tones, and emotional beats each week, Austin developed a flexibility that made him stand out to casting directors.
Like many successful actors, Austin began with supporting artist roles. With the encouragement of his teachers and a growing confidence in his abilities, he soon landed his first TV role on The A Word (BBC). This opportunity allowed him to put his screen acting lessons into practice and marked the start of his promising career. Over the next few years, Austin honed his craft by focusing on character development, pacing, and emotional depth, landing roles in TV series’ Somewhere Boy (C4), The Responder (BBC), All Creatures great & Small (Channel 5), and Adolescence (Netflix).
Austin has also worked extensively in film and landed a leading role in The Railway Children Return, a performance that showcased his ability to take on demanding roles with depth and skill. His weekly script work and line memorization practices at Articulate played a key role in building his reputation, establishing him as a young actor to watch. Austin’s movie roles didn’t stop there and he built up credits in Jackdaw (2023), The Boys in the Boat (2023), Giant (2025), Good Boy (2025), a new TV Movie by Jimmy McGovern and Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning (2025).
Across eight years with Articulate Drama School and eight years being represented by the Articulate Agency, Austin secured a whopping 29 speaking roles (cast roles).
Tilly Kaye
Tilly began her professional acting career in 2018, first appearing as the hero girl in a McDonald's commercial. That same year, she took on roles in two shorts as Chantelle Pearson in Northerners (Rossi Pictures) and Jess Woodley in Six Weeks. In 2019, she appeared as Becky Dearden in The Feed for Amazon TV, directed by Jill Robertson. Her TV credits continued to grow in 2020 with her role as Calamity in BBC’s Last Tango in Halifax. directed by Sally Wainwright. In 2021, she featured in two commercials - playing the Elf in a Facebook Portal campaign and hero girl in a Morrisons advert. She also voiced the Girl’s Voice in a 2022 Pfizer campaign for the U.S. market. That same year, she returned to the screen as Amy Sowden in Gentleman Jack (BBC), again under Sally Wainwright’s direction. In 2021, Tilly starred as the titular character Biff in Biff & Chip (BBC) and went onto play this character for 3 seasons. In 2024, she portrayed Yara in an AXA Car Insurance commercial directed by Sean Meehan. Most recently, in 2025, she plays the supporting lead Amy in the ITV drama Protection, where she acted alongside national treasure Siobahn Finneran. Growing from strength to strength, Tilly is undoubtedly a young actress who is bound for a successful career in the film industry!
Fred Kettle
Fred started off his acting journey in 2022 on the short film Youthless (Idle Factory), the production team loved working with him due to his impeccable attitude on set and invited him back to do some voice over work for their next project Blood’s Thicker. The following year he went onto film for Sherwood (BBC) as a drug runner. In 2024 Fred then landed the role of Jamie in the short film Poppy Day where he worked with Maxine Peake, this was a great opportunity for him to grow by working beside one of the UK’s most beloved actresses. Following this, Fred lent his voice to promote the Netflix smash hit TV drama – Adolescence. Fred’s 2025 started off with a bang as he landed the role of Dylan in Emmerdale (ITV), a deeply complexed young man who lives on the streets. A role which the Emmerdale fanbase cried out to become a series regular – cementing Freds incredible talent as an actor!
Lucy Chambers
Lucy Chambers began making her mark on British television in 2021 with her role as Chloe Tuckman in the ITV drama Viewpoint. In 2022, she portrayed Lynda in the hard-hitting BBC drama Floodlights. The following year, she took on the role of Monika in Silverpoint  (2023), a CBBC series which allowed her to show her range and flare for naturalism. In 2024, she appeared as Sophie in The Listeners, a BBC production directed. Lucy’s 2025 slate is particularly impressive, with leading roles in several high-profile series: she played Cat Guthrie in Waterloo Road (BBC), Poppy Richards in Series 5 of The Bay (ITV), as well as an eagerly anticipated Amazon Prime production filming alongside Billy Nighy and other Articulate Kids! Lucy is definately on the path for a an exciting career in TV and Film and we can’t wait to see her sore!
Isha Kaur
Isha's first credit was for her role in The Runaways (Amazon), she followed this by booking roles in adverts for Scruff a Luvs and Children in Need. Isha then went on to book a voice over role as Frankie on the show Pip and Posy (Sky Kids) which later led on to roles in Biff and Chip (CBBC) and the hero role an advert for the Facebook Portal. She landed a lead role in High Hoops (CBBC) where she played the no-nonsense character of Zara alongside some of Britain's most famous comic actors, Robert Webb and Isy Suttie. Most recently she has been filming for a major BBC series where she has shown she is able to take on more serious characters with a lot of emotional depth.
Owen Phillips
Owen started by building his credits up with roles on Judge Rinder Christmas Court Special (ITV) and The Letterbox Clue Box Trust (Moreover). He then went onto book adverts such as Nintendo, The Sun and ASDA. He has booked lead roles on short films such Phoenix of Gloucester (Disney) and Youthless (Idle Factory), which have allowed him to progress to a guest lead role on All Creatures Great and Small (Channel 5). During all this Owen, has also been filming as the tea loving Yorkshire boy, Wes Oldfield, from CBBC's The Dumping Ground. A role which has allowed Owen to showcase his flare for all things drama!Â
